With her flaming red hair, powerful voice, a burning love for the stage and 19 albums to her credit, all of which have gone gold and platinum in the UK and Worldwide, all it takes is one look at her unique high-octane, heartfelt performance in her concerts, and it's easy to see why millions of her fans feel ROSE-MARIE is a rare entertainer, one that literally has no match!

Rose-Marie's zany sense of humour also gets her invited onto TV shows such as “SHOOTING STARS” with REEVES & MORTIMER and “BIG BROTHER'S LITTLE BROTHER” with DERMOT O'LEARY, to name but a few! She has also appeared as a celebrity judge on two series of the BBC talent show “GO FOR IT”.

Born in Newry , Northern Ireland , Rose-Marie grew up on a farm with her parents, four sisters and one brother, with a strict Catholic upbringing. From an early age she had always wanted to be a singer, and used to sing as she milked her father's cows -- her first captive audience!

However, on leaving school her parents insisted she got what is best described, as a 'proper job' and she entered the world of hairdressing, but this was to be short-lived, when she accidentally cut off a client's ear! The unfortunate victim ran from the Salon screaming.... "Do you know you've cut off my ear..?" To which Rose-Marie responded, "No, but if you hum it, I'll sing it!" It seemed an opportune moment to pack up and head for London.

After a show-stopping appearance on ITV, she landed her first record deal with the TELSTAR record label.

Described as 'The Irish Bette Midler' and 'The Irish Whirlwind' in Europe , Rose-Marie took the UK by storm with her first hit single "When I Leave The World Behind"....the song entered the charts on three consecutive occasions. Since that time she has amassed hit after hit, along with numerous awards and accolades. She was voted 'Best International Concert Star', followed by 'National Singer of The Year', then she was voted 'Most Popular Singer' at the International Music Awards.

Rose-Marie regularly tours with her one-woman show in the United Kingdom and Europe , and has also played to sell-out concerts at the world renowned LONDON PALLADIUM. She will also be touring the UK after the release of her new album, later in the year.

Rose-Marie has also performed her hits before Her Majesty the Queen on THE ROYAL VARIETY SHOW and is a frequent and popular guest on TV chat shows such as 'Shooting Stars' with Reeves and Mortimer.

Rose-Marie's zany sense of Irish humour and her long legs (insured by Lloyds of London) have made her an audience favourite all over the United Kingdom .

Her success on British television led to ITV filming a documentary about her life and the Rose-Marie TV special for the BBC in which she interviewed celebrity guests, presented a wacky game show and performed a medley of her numerous hits. She then hosted a radio program “The Rose-Marie Show,” for over a year and also presented and narrated a documentary, “Silent Revival,” for BBC Radio Two.

Rose-Marie earned rave reviews playing the lead role of Mrs. Johnson in the award winning stage production of “Blood Brothers”. She also won critical acclaim for her special guest star appearance as Maggie O’Connor, a woman on the edge of a nervous breakdown, on the BBC television series, “Doctors”.
